What we do

With our rigorous incubator and accelerator program, we help turn ideas into fundable start-ups, and start-ups into global businesses.

Together with our mentor network of leading entrepreneurs, community leaders and business investors, we provide you with the tools to access customers, develop and take your product to market, and fundraise in Canada and the U.S.

We also provide funding support either through a direct investment or through connecting you to our network of VCs and angel investors.

Our Community

Access to major markets and meaningful capital.

In the first half of 2021, Canadian startups raised $6.3 billion across 414 deals. Canada is currently experiencing a venture explosion, leading to results that are unprecedented. British Columbia alone in 2021 produced 9 tech unicorn businesses valued at more than $1 billion dollars. Canadian companies have clearly reaped the benefits of being in close proximity to Asia, America and European markets, unrivaled access to world-class talent pool, and generous public and private funding support.

Why Canada

One of the highest standards of living in the world.

Western Canada provides a safe, clean and high quality of life to live and build a business. In fact, the two largest cities: Calgary and Vancouver, were both listed in the top ten most livable cities by the Economist Intelligence Unit. Startup founders in Canada have the security of a stable economy, a skilled workforce, low corporate taxes and access to government grants and tax credits.

Mostafa

“When I joined the PacTech program, I learned a lot about Canadian culture and how to run a business in Canada. I think it is one of the best programs that anyone who wants to run a startup should join.”

Sweta

“The PacTech accelerator program gives you everything you need to know when looking to migrate to another country. I liked that I was able to start the program before I moved to Canada, pause during my move, and then continue after I arrive in Canada when I have a home base and have achieved some traction in my business. Whether you’re an entrepreneur with just a business idea or someone who is already well established in the market, no matter what your level, the PacTech program is super helpful.”
